Our Weekend

Last weekend was very special, not just because it was my birthday, but because Chelsea had some visitors on Friday. First, my brother John visited on his way back to Hawaii. Then, my dad visited us from Florida and stayed for the evening. It was so great to see them both, it had been far too long. Chelsea really enjoyed it, too. Here are some pictures.



Since Sunday was my birthday, we decided to go to the PA Renaissance Faire on Saturday for pirate weekend... and at the last minute we decided to dress up, too! Here are some pictures of our little pirate family... ARRR!

5 Months!

Chelsea turned 5 months old this week! We decided that it was time to start her on a little rice cereal. She's having fun learning how to eat from a spoon!

Yesterday was a busy day for us! First, we went to the Latta's for Noah's 1st Birthday party!

Susan, Amy, and I all met on a babycenter board, before our babies were even born. Look at them now! Chelsea is 5 months, Kaitlyn is 9 months, and Noah is 1 year!

Chelsea loved meeting Noah's Mr. Hippo. It's no wonder he loves that hippo so much!

Chelsea's first time in the baby pool! She didnt like it much at first, but once she got used to the water, she seemed to like it!




After the party, we went to a Schaefer family gathering at Aunt Dolly and Uncle Russ'. The have a nice heated pool, so Chelsea had her first experience in the big swimming pool! I think it's safe to say she loved it!

What do Dragons say?

RAWR! Anyone who knows Stephen and I, knows how much we love dragons. We bought Chelsea her first dragon a few weeks ago! I think she likes it ;) I'll post a video of Chelsea and her dragon on facebook.



Chelsea is doing great with tummy time and started pushing up on her arms tonight!

Cape May Zoo and more

Here are some pictures of our trip to the Cape May Zoo! This was Chelsea's first zoo visit, but she slept most of the time we were there. She enjoyed being carried around by Mama.

Babywearing

Over the past month I have purchased two new baby carriers: a ring sling and a mei tai.

It took a little getting used to but I think we finally have the hang of it! I carried her in the mall the other day in it. It sure beat having to take the stroller out in the rain!

The Mei Tai just came in the mail today! I bought this second hand at a bargain price! It was made by a mom. I love it. It's so comfy. Chelsea seems happy in it too.
