Artbooking in August #4

Welcome to Week #4 of the Artbooking in August Blog Hop. Last week's artwork was so phenomenal and this week over 35 creative consultants are at it again!

Their challenge was to create 4 different projects using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack.  Their mission was to design each of the following:

1. 2 page layout
2. Card
3. Mini Book
4. Home decor or 'giftable' item

They were able to choose what to make and when to post it. AND if they wanted to add stamps to their designs, that was OK.  This week they will add another great design to the challenge and I am anxious to see what everyone has created!

Remember this is a circular blog hop and if you get lost or confused along the way, the list is posted on Adeline's blog here.

You may have come here from Brenda's Blog. Next up after me is Jan!

I had a nice long post here, but due to technical difficulties with my blog, it has been lost, so I am reposting :(. Here is my project from week #4.

The box was made using the artiste cartridge, and the image was cut out using the Artbooking cartridge. In addition, I used the new border punch to punch the scallop onto the shimmer trim. The silver shimmer trim might just be my favorite scrapbook item of all time - love love love that stuff! I'm excited that we have other colors this year, but still go back to my trusty silver.

This matching card was also made with an image from the Artbooking cartridge, and a stamp from one of the three included stamp sets!

Artbooking in August #1

Artbooking in August Blog Hop Week #1

Every week in August, 40 consultants will group together for a blog hop celebrating the new CTMH cricut cartridge, Artbooking. You may have come from Brenda's Blog. Next up after me is Jan!

This week, I have a great 2 page layout to share. One of the best things about this cartridge are the overlays and coordinated page items. For this layout, I used these two keys on the cricut cartridge:

Supplies:

Here is the finished layout:

A close up of the overlay and embellishments:

One tip for cutting the glitter paper on the cricut: use multicut! The first time I tried to cut it, my cricut hardly cut through the top layer.

Yes, the rumors are true! Close to my Heart has come out with an INCREDIBLE new Cricut Collection called Artbooking.

Here is an overview of what’s in this amazing new Cricut Collection:
