Last weekend we took Chelsea on her first trip to NJ! She did great in the car. Slept the entire time, except when we stopped at a rest area to eat and change her diaper. This coming weekend she gets to go to Church for the first time and to meet the rest of the Schaefer family in Maryland!
Last week, Chelsea's umbilical cord stump finally fell off at 3 wks 1 day. We started her on tummy time for a few minutes per day so she can build up those arm and neck muscles. She didnt like it much the first time, but I could tell she wanted to be able to scoot!
Here are a few pictures from while we were in NJ. Chelsea wore her blue party dress for Christopher's birthday! The bunny was a gift from Grandma!

Yesterday it was so nice outside that we decided to take a walk. We put Chelsea in the baby bjorn for the first time. She slept for the entire walk. I think she enjoyed being so close to her Mama.
Last but not least - Chelsea in her swing! We raised the back of it a bit so that she could sit up a little bit better and she liked it a lot more. She was fascinated with the owls!

What a little cutie pie! Don't you just love the Bjorn? She'll love it even more when you can turn her around in a few months. Glad she was so good for you on the trip!
Kaylin loved her Bjorn, so much I ended up purchasing a second one at a thrift store to use when the first one was being laundered. She spent many, many happy hours in her Bjorn! I hope our newest addition likes it just as much.
